Project documents often contain PII that shouldn't be shared externally - names, phone numbers, SSNs, addresses. IC Redact scans your PDFs and removes this information before you send files to subconsultants, upload to AI tools, or submit to clients.

What it detects:

• Social Security Numbers & Tax IDs
• Phone numbers & email addresses
• Names (common names + your custom list)
• Street addresses & dates of birth
• Bank account & credit card numbers

How it works:

1. Select your PDF(s)
2. Preview detected items
3. Click Redact
4. Save the cleaned file

All processing happens locally on your computer. Your files are never uploaded anywhere.

Adobe Acrobat Pro includes similar redaction features. IC Redact is a free alternative for teams without Acrobat Pro licenses.
